Aiden's school does a fun Harvest Fest every fall. It helps raise money for kids who can't afford the trips they take every year. It was SO much fun! Thank you so much everyone who bought tickets!
Aiden with his "soul brother" watching the puppet show
There was lots of live music...
Asher liked playing with the tractor.
TONS of food! It was SO good! We had frito pies, homemade onion rings w/ homemade ketchup, treats, fresh pressed apple cider, etc. It was awesome!
Aiden got his face painted...
Ash thought it was hilarious!
My little clown!
There were 5 cake walks - we didn't win one :(
Here's the apple cider press. Aid LOVED it! He is such a funny little guy!
There was the Kid vs. Goat (they raced eating apples off of a string - it was pretty funny!) and a drawing for prizes. They gave away a good 25+ prizes. It was SO much fun and we're looking forward to next year!
HALLOWEEN!!!
Halloween is hands down one of my all time favorite holidays! I have lots of good memories of Halloween as a kid - and I hope my kids love it too! We (obviously) had to decorate! Aiden LOVED that glow-in-the-dark skeleton - he would change him everyday doing "dance" moves.
Aid helped pick where all of our ghosts, pumpkins, haunted houses, etc. would go.
My darling cat candy dish and spider chip & dip bowls. I love decorations from Cracker Barrel! Probably my favorite :)
My cute Wicked blocks that I finally finished this year!
Aiden carved his very own pumpkin - under close supervision of course!
He was VERY proud!
Our front door - Aid picked what we hung up out there :)
We also hung up sparkly pumpkin and skeleton garlands on out deck :)
My mom gave us a bunch of cute decorations - including these eye lights.
Asher's pumpkin is on the right and Aiden's on the left.
More glow lights :)
When the boys went to bed, Ry and I watched scary movies and carved out pumpkins! We LOVE carving pumpkins! Too bad they only last for like a day :)
Ry's graveyard
My stacked pumpkins
Halloween morning we had pumpkin pancakes that the boys decorated with chocolate chips
Aiden is VERY proud of his!
And we made construction paper pumpkins
Trick or Treating to our 2 neighbors homes :) He got spoiled rotten from both of them! Thanks JoLinda and Steve!!
The Saturday before Halloween we went up to Red River (it's only 15 minutes from our house) and rode their Trick or Treat trolley. The trolley took us to all the businesses that the kids could trick or treat at. It was SO fun! Here they are enjoying their spoils! Aiden was the muscle spider man (there were FOUR Spider Man's on the trolley - including one super cute Spider Girl!)
And my cute little dragon! Is it bad that I thought he looked DARLING in his purple sweat suit??
I hope everyone had a fun, safe and candy filled Halloween!!
