Christmas this year was so fun! We got to spend Christmas Eve with all of Ryan's family. We read the Nativity before opening presents. It was really fun to see the kids get excited and to give gifts. This year we did a 'homemade
Christmas' for the family. I, of course, forgot to take pictures of the gifts. I made these frames that were strung with twine and
mopodged clothes pins to hang pictures with little sweater flowers in the corner and a pair of earrings. They turned out much better then I had expected! Those were for all the female in-laws. The grandparents also got a
modpodged double frame with a picture of
Aiden and an ultrasound picture of Asher. They turned out better then I expected also! For all the guys, they got some A&W
root beer and
candy bars. Not homemade I know, but I really didn't know what I could make for the dads that would be awesome!
Aiden made all of his cousins puzzle blocks that came from a book...which he gave a copy of to them. The girl cousins also got sweater flower hair clips.
Aiden also made an ornament for the grandparents that was his hand print. We did silver ink on a blue background and he made his fingers into little snowmen. He also wrote his name all by himself! I'll have to steal my moms and take a picture of it, because they turned out super cute!
Aiden was so excited to pass out gifts to everyone! It was
alot of fun!

I love this picture of Cole and Savannah. Poor kids were extremely bore while waiting for...

These little monkey's to calm down so we could get started! Thanks for the fun evening! We had such a good time being with everyone!

Christmas morning was a blast as well! We spent the morning with Ry's family and opened all the gifts from Santa!

Aiden got to open all his gifts with Cole. It was so fun to see both of them! I'm looking forward to next Christmas to see both of our little monkey's open gifts together!

Aiden wanted a pillow pet so bad! Too bad for him, his mom is not with what's popular with the kids right now, so he got stuck with a bee, instead of the dog. I don't think
Aiden really cared though! He opened it and said "it's just what I've always wanted!" So, that made me happy!
Aiden basically said "it's what I've always wanted" to all of the gifts he opened from "
Santa" so I guess I did alright!

The "BIG" gift!

A
Cris-Cross Crash Track! He's been talking about this things for almost a month! It was so exciting to see him open it!

Can you tell he likes it? He made Grandpa Doug set it up for him so he could play! After presents, I made a Scandinavian 'brunch' (it was supposed to be breakfast, but I woke up late, and sorta
misjudged how long it would take to make everything...oops!). I was so excited to share this with my in-laws! It turned out well, if I do say so myself. Very traditional, so not the typical sweet breakfast most people are used to, but I liked it! :)

After breakfast we went to my parents house where we got spoiled even more! It was so fun! We had to bribe
Aiden to open more presents (seriously...I think he was just over stimulated or something. I had to tell him to open his gifts or go to bed...what kid doesn't wanna open more presents?! Apparently mine!) But it paid off! He got this awesome kitchen! He loves to cook with mom and dad, and now he can cook whenever he wants...in his room...so my kitchen isn't always torn apart! It's a gift that keeps on giving! :)

Christmas this year was so much fun! We are so blessed to have such wonderful families to share the holidays with! Asher wasn't left out - my mom got him an adorable outfit that he should fit into by next
Christmas!
Yay!!
Thanks everyone for making it such a great time! I hope everyone else had a great Christmas also!
