So I've been HORRIBLE at blogging the projects we do everyday. My only excuse is work is quite busy, and when I get home I just wanna hang out with my boys, and now...I'm sick. It feels like I have sandpaper in my throat. Awesome huh? Anyways...my kitchen has been a HOT MESS lately and I love the reason why! I've gotten the previously posted baby gift done, 2 Christmas blankets and a Christmas PJ shirt done. I cleaned it all up though...I have a million more things to make before Christmas though! I'm so excited!
Anyway, let's continue the countdown! Aiden decorated his very own notebook. (yes, I do all the projects with him because I'm a 4 year old at heart...don't judge haha) I love how he sticks his tongue out when he concentrates...you can see this action in previous pictures!

He earned this light saber (from the dollar store lol) for earning all of his marbles. Yes, it took him a LONG time to earn it. We may be tweaking this a little to figure out if something works better!

Also, these crowns. He was thrilled to make this! Yes...those are googly eyes all the way around the crowns and no, he didn't want me to cut peaks into it. Just a square crown haha
Also, he received an awesome package in the mail full of books (thanks Grandma Marlene)! Ryan had to read every single one of them to him as soon as he opened it (I was at work...Monday's are my long day :( ...) That's one thing that Aiden absolutely LOVES is books. I need to figure out a good way to store all his books and make him a reading "nook". I've seen a lot of things on pinterest (or I've pinned ideas I've found elsewhere) that I love! Real quick side track deal here...have you experience pinterest?! I am IN LOVE! Seriously! I spend a ridiculous amount of time on there...well, more pinning from other sight there. If I see something that I think is brilliant or that I love, I always think "ooh I need/wish I could pin that!" Yeah...it's that addicting! Check it out here though! It's awesome!
Today's link was leaf art. I got a bag of leaves at the dollar store, and the googly eyes made an appearance in this project too (I have a feeling they'll be on every project here on out). I am starting to really fall in love with autumn! It's such a great time of year! The colors, sweaters, boots, etc. I used to HATE it, but...I think I'm changing my ways!
So, there's only THIRTEEN more days until we leave for Cali! I cannot believe that! It has snuck up on me...and basically my weight loss goal..out the window! No super cute swimsuit for me! hahaha I'm hoping that maybe I can still lose a quick 10 pounds before then, but we'll see. What is going to fill up the time before we leave?
- complete the chain (tomorrow is 'rub art' ...look for the awesomeness of that project!)
- a BABY SHOWER for Ms. Alison whom I work with. I adore her and am so excited for her and her hubby! Me and a couple co-workers have a few things to make before then including a darling burp cloth bouquet, diaper tricycle 'cake', possible some darling onesie deals (there are a few ideas floating around) etc, etc, etc! I am SO excited!
- a super fun craft night with Alison and Stacey! I am so excited to have some crafty friends to hang out with up here! It's made Logan much more 'awesomer' :)
- start to plan a couples Halloween Party with a few 'couple friends' from work! It's gonna be fun!
- my birthday (I'm sure Ry has something up his sleeve, which is why it's on this list)
- PACKING FOR CALI!!!!!
So, busy...yes, but so fun! Keep checking back because I'll have lots of pictures and fun posted this month! Yay!!
